The Art Of A Roll: Told By Photographs

The art of a roll, as told by photographs. Special thank you to Juan Orozco (black rash guard) and Dan Conway (white rash guard) for letting me photograph their flow roll.

Jiu jitsu is a beautiful art that each photo tells its own unique story. If you have participated in rolling then you might understand the mental and physical challenges that lie in front of you. It is the decisions you make next that determine the outcome of your roll. As for Dan (a skilled purple belt) and Juan (a talented and experienced brown belt) their roll is like watching a high level chess match.

TIME! The clock stops but the experience and knowledge gained will last a lifetime.

Chime in down below in the comment section and let me know your thoughts of these photographs or something you noticed in the roll. Until next time, cheers mates!
